The sustainment plan like utilization of new types of medicines for the plant, non availability of resource, standards rates not provided for the farmers for their product are the reason for loss of agricultural land. They are finally made in to building which gives them a good yield.

You will need to convert the land over to another use. Either commerical/residental (buildings), grazing land or forestry property to make a living off the land.
