I used "Come celebrate John Doe's new flat hat!" for my son. I've also seen "John Doe invites you to watch him go to school in his robe!"

"I Can't Believe It Finally Happened!", then inside "Yes (person's name) has Graduated from (insert institution) and we are Celebrating. Come join us on .... add information.
