Once a car has been repossesed it usually goes to a holding lot of some sort. If the city has towed the car , it will most likely be sold at auction after a holding period. You can check police websites for auction times and locations. Also if repossesed by a bank you can check with them for auctions.

Sometimes you can find some at Junk Sales, Ads in your local newspapers or on notice boards. Go to any Mechanic or garage and ask where you could get one.

Banks often have a location where they park them for potential buyers to see. Sometimes, they go to car lots and the salespeople there handle the transaction.

Sometimes they go back to the dealerships and sometimes the repossession company buys them. Also some go to the banks that financed them. You will need to contact these different business and see when and where each has their auctions. Most take them down to the local auto auctions.
