Being sclerotic has two meanings, it can be related to sclerosis, which is hardening or thickening of the tissue in the eyeball. It can also be related to the hardening of the brain tissue and spinal cord.

Sclerotic can have a few different meanings depending on if its followed by a different word. An example of this would be sclerotic rings which would have a different meaning. Sclerotic its self comes from another word, sclerotization, which means the harding of soft tissue.

Sclerotic is the opposite of erotic. It is when someone does something that does not arouse you. For example, if you find massages to be erotic then something sclerotic would be someone karate chopping your muscles. It is a real turn off and quite uncomfortable. Something that does not arouse you.
