To "bogart" means to keep something valuable exclusively to oneself and not sharing it with anyone else that is around. It was supposed to be taken after the actor Humphrey Bogart who, it is said, kept an unsmoked cigarette in the corner of his mouth.

To "Bogart" means to inhale deeply or for a very long time,usually referring to a marijuana joint. The meaning is derived from the actor Humphrey Bogart,who had a habit of taking very long drags on cigarettes when he smoked. It has since come to mean taking more than your share of anything when with a group.

It can mean several things, besides the last name of a very famous American actor who is now dead (Humphrey Bogart). It can mean a long drag of marijuana, or an egotistical person, or a disappointment (although this is not a very common usage).
