Tabby cats are easily recognizable by their vertical stripes, of any color, running down their body. They also have the same markings on their faces. Ususally, there will be an intricate design on their heads, some say shaped like a scarab.Their legs will also have some sort of striping, as well as their stomachs. They can be almost any color.

Tabby cats have four sorts of markings. These patterns are stripes, dots, swirled or ticked pattern. This is a pattern not a color. The cats may have white patches too.
