What do I need to know about ATVs in the mud?

Basically an atv will drive similar to a four wheel drive truck in the mud. You need to learn how to approach certain mud holes. The biggest cause of getting stuck is either high-centering it or choosing a poor line. Just practice and you should get the hang of it.

Your brakes arn't going to work as well as they do on dry surfaces cause your traction is reduced and cause of that you have more wheel spin on acceleration.

have fun and be carefull. know what your getting into when driving thru it. check the depth so you dont get stuck. wash thoughly and keep up with the maintance.

You really need to know what you are doing and how deep the mud is so you don't get stuck in it. You nedd to wash off your ATV and keep up the maintance.
