What could be the cause of a Ford Econoline that stumbles. stalls and will not run?

A fairly common part associated with stumbles/stalls is the fuel filter or fuel pump, especially in the Ecoline. Those are relatively cheap to replace. It also may very well be due to an electrical problem such as faulty spark plugs, fuel injectors, or a run down battery. The Ford Ecoline uses a distributor, which can also cause stalling.

Most stalls are the common problem of having a bad starter or spark plug in your engine. check this first.

This could be anything from a clogged fuel filter, bad gas, old plugs/wires to a computer problem. You can start by fixing the easy and cheap things. (filter, plugs,wires) Check for leaky broken or missing vacuum hoses too. If none of that helps, you should take the car into a diagnostic center for an evaluation.

for a ford to not start and stumble could be alot of things.one of them could be bad bettery. it also could mean the alternator is broken.
