Not all white boxers are deaf, but it definitely is one of their traits. They can also be blind, so make sure to test for this upon choosing the dog. Make some noises behind them and make sure that the dog can follow your hand with his or her eyes.

Many breeders are seeing white boxer dogs as an inferior breed compared to their colored (black, brown, etc.) counterparts. Firstly, the white fur is not a genetic defect but a trait passed down through the recessive gene of both the mother and father. Breeders hold that white boxers have more health problems, but this is not true.

Nearly 25% of boxers are born white. All whites sunburn easily and nearly 30% are deaf or partially deaf. Because the AKC standard says that white coloring is a flaw, many puppies are euthanized, making white boxers seem rarer than they are. Whites have the same temperament as other boxers.

All white boxers are usually deaf. Their all white coloring comes from a gene abnormality and their lack of pigment indicates their deafness. Breeders aren't supposed to breed white boxers for this reason.

That is not true at all it all depends on the particular dog. Some of them are but has nothing to do with the color.
