John Street served as mayor of Philadelphia from 1999-2007. Born in 1945, he grew up poor in Pennsylvania. In 2005, Time Magazine named him one of America's worst mayors, partly because he was indirectly linked to a corruption scandal during his 2003 election. He is married, has four children, and is a fitness enthusiast.
