What can I use to check the available memory on my new computer?

The easiest way to check is to use task manager. You can open task manager by pressing ctrl, alt and del at the same time. Once it's open you can see your memory availablity on the performance tab. The services tab should show what applications are using all your memory.

Assuming you are running Microsoft Windows on a PC. Yo u just have to press ctrl + alt + del and start Windows Task Manager and select the Performance Tab.

Getting into the BIOS can show you the amount of memory in the system. You can follow the instructions on your display as the computer boots up to get into the BOIS.

An easy way to check your computer's memory is to go to your start screen and click computer. There, you can see how much or little memory you have left. If you have a problem with memory, try deleting unecessary files and documents.
