What can I do about obsessive thinking?

You need to learn how to relax and distance yourself from your thoughts. Take up a hobby to distract yourself, such as photography.

You can try deep breathing or relaxation techniques. This may help alleviate stress and racing thoughts. When you begin to have obsessive thinking, you can also try counting from 100 backwards. This will help you focus on something else, other than your thoughts.

I have the same exact problem. My only answer is to relax, try to clear your mind, and remember, you don't have to solve everything today. Good luck.
