What are the different meanings of flower colors?

With roses, red means love or passionate love. Yellow means friendship. White is purity or innocence. Peach is for young love, as is pink. Purple or orange roses are more just for fun!

White usually means purity, yellow courage, pink is sweetness, red is passion, purple is wisdom, green is youth, orange is vigor, transparent/translucency is preceptiveness, brown is meekness, black is power.

The color of the flowers have a physiologic function, but the main meaning of these colors is that they help to the plant to attract beneficial insects that help them with their pollination.
