How is it different from the C-class?

Size and build quality are the major differences. The C-class cars are generally built in the US and are an entry level vehicle. Built cheaper and with less amenities. The E-class cars are still built in europe, are midclass, and have more bells and whistles

Well both have the same basic platform underneath. However the C-class is more of a compact lower-end model where as the E-class is more of a expensive executive sedan. Both cars are available with a wide array of option however the E-class comes with more standard. The E-class also comes with the lager more powerful v6 engine among other things.
