My hair is naturally surly as well. I find that garnier fructis anti-humidity smoothing milk works really well. I use that when my hair is wet I also use Paul Mitchell mousse. It tends to help fight the frizz.
An anti-frizz or curl-defining gel, cream or serum work best for medium to coarse curly hair types. A lightweight mousse, lightweight gel or spray gel work best for fine curly hair types.
