The two biggest advantages are having a visually striking guitar. The sustain on a plexiglass guitar is usually fantastic. If you are looking for a heavier guitar, plexiglass is good way to go. If weight, sustain, and durability are at the top of your list, plexiglass is the definite way to go.

Plexiglass guitars produce higher qualities of sound. For a guitarist, this is the most important factor for purchasing a guitar. The plexiglass guitar also has a nice look to it. Not the most important factor, but it does tend to help.

Is it acoustic or electric? I've never heard of either one; guitars are universally made of wood. I have heard of carbon fiber violins that sound as good or better than their wooden counterparts. If the guitar is electric, it won't matter, and it'll probably be lighter than wood.

Well the biggest advantage is that you'll have a top of the line guitar. Also, the guitar looks great and its different. It is also very smooth to play and has great coverage.

Plexiglass is more durable than wood. The tone of a plexiglass guitar will be more crisp, but will not have as much sustain.

I own an Ampeg plexiglass guitar and it looks really cool. That is the main advantage of owning one it also is really heavy compared to normal solid-body guitars and they sratch really easy. But everytime I do play it out someone comments about it. Good luck

A plexiglass guitar is seen as a better alternative in terms of guitars by some people. This is because that certain people believe that it produces a higher quality of sound for the guitarist which obviously is very important.
