A side swept updo is gorgeous with or w/out a veil. Curled, with volume on top parted to the side and loosely pinned to the side gives an open, elegant look especially if your wedding dress is open in the back. Also, a loosely pinned cluster of curls at the nape of the neck looks amazing.
