Absolutely. Higgin's Lake in Michigan provides electricity and other RV musts (tank cleaning included.) I would suggest it for a nice summer vacation. The lake is beautiful and there are a few things to do around town.

White Mountain National Forest in Maine. Where you can enjoy hiking trails, scenic drives, historic places, and plenty of space to just sit back and relax.

In California, a good RV park is Mesa Verde - quiet, with large lots, beautiful scenery all around, lots of wildlife.

I recently traveled across the country in my small RV and found that the state parks in Florida are especially nice. Many of the Florida state parks do have RV spots, but some do not, so be sure to check ahead of time. St. Joseph Peninsula State Park was beautiful.

I recommend going to a KOA campground. This is what my husband's family did when he was younger and he loved it. The campgrounds usually have hot showers, a store and a patch of grass for the kids to play in. They also evaluate their campgrounds.

My husband and I loved our recent trip through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We especially loved the facilities around Silver Lake.
