I have found that "wacky style" rigging is very effective for bass. Use a 2/0 or 3/0 size hook or a circle hook.

First one should find a quiet area to fish. One should start out early in the morning. Use live bait if possible, earthworms are always a good lure to use. Make certain you have a fishing rod that casts the bait. This will get the bait further out.

I love fishing. I started fishing at the age 7 and am still fishing. Some tips and tricks are look at the type and size of fish bait you may use. For small fish, use small fish bait such as tiny shrimp soaked overnight in oyster oil. This is one of the best fish baits you can ever use.

Generally you want to fish near structures in the water, like piers, edge of weeds, or downed trees. Also look for where the shallow floor drops off into deeper water, there's a big change in water temperature and fish will hang out in that area quite a bit.

Whether it is a day or weekend trip, deep sea, river, or pond fishing, you need to have the right gear and bait. Remember, you are not going to catch a a big bass with a tiny worm. Do your research!
