Card games a great way to teach your children. Simple games that you could start with would be Go Fish, War, Slapjack, and Old Maid. Later, when you start to feel your kids have gotten the hang of those games you could start introducing them to games such as Speed.

GO fish is a classic, and can be done with a regular deck of cards or a specialty deck. You can play old maid by making a joker the maid.

If you want to teach your child how to play simple card games there are games like Go Fish or war and then there is the game called Memory, if you want other suggestions, then you could look up card games on the internet of purchase a card game book that has simple kids games.

all depends on what type of cards, if you mean a traditional deck of playing cards, then gofish is a fun child oriented game. if other types you mean, uno is a very fun game aswell as phase 10.
