Even alcohol, beers and apple cider vinegar is also considered diuretics because they can increases the water content in the body.

diet coke, green tea, water pill (tablets) and even a chilled glass of beer can be used for a forced diuresis. Some of these can increase the water contant in the body and will enhance the possibilites of urination and is very useful for women during their periods and people who are living on high preasure areas.

All prescription diuretics do not contain caffeine. Diuretics should not be taken unless prescribed by a physician because there are complications unless they are medically necessary.

Not all of the prescription diuretics do not contain caffeine, so check with your doctor about these options. They will direct you to the ones that are caffeine free.

There are no prescription diuretics being sold that require or use caffeine in the formulation. While caffeine is a diuretic, the negative side affects are far greater than the positive.
