Your dirty laundry, a laundry basket or laundry bag or both, detergent (liquid or powder), dryer sheets and/or liquid fabric softner (some people use both), quarters for the machines, a music player with headphones (good for entertaining you while you are putting clothes in the machines and folding them) and a book to read while you are waiting.

Other than the clothes and laundry detergent, you may want to bring fabric softener, dryer sheets, and bleach if you use it on your white clothes.
