Is the Buick Roadmaster wagon considered a classic?

Answer by  valk (6)

Yes, because of the wood-look sides, it was different from other automobiles of that time. It was the first year for the Buick name, and I believe they wanted to make a statement, and show something new. It was a station wagon which represented the family, which in the 1930's to the 1950's was the way of life.

Yes if you go by the definition of a classic car being between the age of 20-45 years it is definitely a classic.

Well it all depends on exactly which series of Roadmasters that you are referring to. Buick orginally started selling the Roadmaster back in 1936. It was continued to be produced until 1936. So if you mean this generation then yes. However the second generation running from 1991 to 1996 are not old enough to be called classics yet.

It actually depends on what year the car is. Some people may consider it a classic and some may not. You may actually be able to look at E-bay and find out what they are selling for and that will give you a better idea where yours falls.
