In some areas of the world pelletized lime is not a good item to place on new lawns. Pelletized lime tends to hang around on the new lawn for entirely too long and tends to burn new growth. A better option for new lawn is a liquid application, which takes longer but doesnt burn.

Pellitized lime is good because it releases over a longer period of time it also goes through a spreader much easier then either granular or pulverized. but I would recommend pulverized lime it just works a little better

Pelletized lime is much easier to apply than other types of lime. The most important thing to remember is to water the pellets thoroughly before tilling so that they will dissolve thoroughly in the ground.

Pelletized Lime is a good product to use on a new lawn, but you must keep in mind that it is better to rototill the lime into the lawn if at all possible. I personally would apply the lime in the fall so that the freezing and thawing of the ground can help the lime be absorbed.

Pelletized lime is a product recommended by many nurseries to use on new lawns. Before using it though, you have to make sure you till and water your lawn so the pellets dissolve into the ground.
