Russell died in 2005. A stand-up comedian, he earned fame as a panelist on TV game shows: Password, Hollywood Squares and many others. "Geraldine" was created by comedian Flip Wilson.

Nipsey Russell passed away in 2005. His last role was of 'Wallace Roy' in "100 Centre Street" in 2001. Throughout the late 70's and early 80's he was a regular on several game shows, including "Hollywood Squares", "Password Plus", and "The $20,000 Pyramid", (80 episodes.) His longest running acting job was as 'Honey Robinson' in "Barefoot in the Park".
