Is it safe to uninstall Windows Messenger?

Absolutely. There is no real reason to keep Windows Messenger installed if you do not make any use of it. It isn't considered a program that interacts with very many other programs or has any programs that are dependent on it, so you shouldn't see any adverse effects on your system after you uninstall it.

Yes, Windows Messenger can be safely uninstalled. If you ever want to have it back, you can download a copy from Microsoft's website free of charge and install it again.

It is perfectly fine to uninstall Window's Messenger. This won't harm your computer. You can always re-install it later on.

Yes, it is safe to uninstall Windows Messenger. It won't make your OS unable to operate, it will just not allow you to chat with people that also have Messenger.
