Is it a bad thing to still be living at home at 29 years old?

Although every situation is different, most people are living on their own by the time that they are 29. By staying at home, you are avoiding true adulthood, and the responsibilities of an adult. Most people, upon learning that you are living at home, will probably view you negatively. This can impact relationships and even job opportunities.

When to leave the nest varies widely in this country depending on family expectations, cultural views, and personal preferences. The better question might be why are you still living at home. If you and your family are ok with the living situation then it is perfectly fine.

Hmm not really it depends on your culture, in an Arab culture a woman or man only move out once they get married if you're 20 or 30 doesn't matter, so no worries it's not a bad thing :)
