Chewing food and spitting it out can be an eating disorder, and it sounds like you are worried enough so a professional opinion would be a good next move. It's not normal for people to chew and spit unless they are engaging in some sort of taste testing experience, or they have a biological reason for not swallowing.

Yes. C&S stands for chewing and spitting. People who engage in this activity do so to enjoy the act of chewing and tasting food, without swallowing it and ingesting the calories. Like any other eating disorder, it is very dangerous.

In my opinion, I think C&S (chewing and spitting) is very much an eating disorder. Eating disorders have affected millions worldwide and not only the ones who directly have them. Chewing and Spitting is not good. The person does it because it gives them the satisfication of eating without the "consequences" that they think will come later.

C & S is chewing and spitting and considered an eating disorder. The reason being beause the person harbors an unhealthy relationship to food and their body. They have a constant craving for sweets and high caloric foods. They binge but chew and spit, few added calories.

First of all..there are two major types of eatings disorders, Bulimia, which is binge and purge, and Anorexia, which is total denial of food, forced starvation. There are associations and groups which deal with these types of severe eating disorders and anytype of disorder should be addressed immediately.

No C&S is not an eating disorder. It is a urinary test to determine if there are pathogens in the urinary track.

From the perspective of the College of American Psychiatrists, C&S is not a bonafide eating disorder, such as pica. It goes under the category of cravings.

C&S could really be anything but if C&S means culture and sensitivit then it is a lab test done on body fluids, such as urine. The 'culture' identifies the presence of an infection and the sensitivity determines which antibiotics are effective against the infection. I hope this is what you were looking for.
