Is Beck's beer considered dark?

The standard version of Beck's that most people drink (green bottle with red label) is not a dark beer, but is in fact a Pilsner. That being said, Beck's does produce a dark variety called Beck's Dark, which is a dark lager. A standard bottle of becks has 140 calories in it.

No Becks is not considered a dark beer, in fact quite the opposite. It is almost a pilsner. They are quite high in calories but there does exist a light version and an alcohol free version.
