If I am late on paying my monthly insurance premiums will they still cover you for an accident?

My insurance payment is two weeks late and I was in an accident this morning.

You may still be covered, some companies have a grace period, but it varies from one company to the next. Most send out a notice of cancellation. Contact your company to be sure.

When you took out the insurance they would have taken two months upfront to cover situations just like this one. So you are still covered with the extra months policy.

Unfortunately, you might not be covered. Typically, you would not be, but check with your insurance company to be sure.

You are more than likely out of luck. When you pay monthly, you need to be ahead by one month, which is different than when you pay premiums biannually. Even if you pay what is due, there will likely be 'time out of force' for your policy. However, pay anyway and call your insurer/claim adjustor to discuss.
