If you own a business you can get a basic membership for $35. If you do not own a business or are affliated with one, you can buy a personal membership for $40. These each allow up to two people on the membership at one time. You can get an upgraded membership for $100 for two people for one year.

Sam's Club has different membership amounts. The cheapest is $35 for a single - or $100 for a family. Also they have business memberships for $40 (single) and $100 business. It is well worth the membership charge - you will save a lot of money.

In the area in thata I live it cost $40.00 a year to be a Sam's Club member. Which with the savings is well worth it especially if you like buying goods in bulk. I am not sure how that compares with Costco but I really like Sam's much better.
