4. 1 quarts of oil are required when you change the filter as well as the motor oil inside the crankcase of the engine in your Nissan Altima. You should use 5W-30 unless otherwise specified.

If this is for a 1993 to 2001 Altima with the 2. 4 liter engine, 4. 1 quarts is required for the oil change with the oil filter. Hope this has helped

You will have to go to an auto parts store, tell them the make and model and they will tell you how much is needed for it. They would be able to say how much is needed and how much it will all cost you. My explorer took 3 quarts. It depends on the car.

This car uses about 4. 5 quarts of oil. First fill with 4 quarts then top off with additional half quart. Check oil as filling.

The book says 4. 1 quarts. When I had my Altima, I used to use four quarts exactly and would always have my dipstick reading full. I know a friend who puts in about three plus quarts, and then top it off to full once he had warmed up the engine.
