How does Criss Angel do the levitation trick?

He uses the art of misdirection. Most of his levitation tricks are complex but when he levitates himself, he keeps his feet held together with a magnet while he opens his pant leg so he can support himself on his right foot. The misdirection keeps the spectator from noticing.

The most likely explanation for that is that he uses a very thin (but strong) wire held up by someone on a building near him

I think he is attached to something, that is hard for us to see. That would make the most sense. There is no way that most of what he does is real.
