Laying all the broads you want to waterproof down. Then give it a nice sweep make sure no dirt or anything on the deck. Stain your broads let them dry to the tie the stain has to dry. Then apply the water sealant to then broads

It is very simple once you get the right material. If you want to waterproof you must go to your local home depot or lowes and get some waterproofing. It is like a paint that you will paint on the surface of the boards.
