The best treatments will be medication provided by your vet. There are available over the counter meds, but they are not as effective. When de-worming your pup, expect to see the parasites in your dog's waste. It is a good idea to bag the waste and throw it away.

Get a Dewormer from your local pet store or a pet store online. They make some for puppies. Give your dog the suggested dosage and make you continue to worm your dog in regular intervals after the problem goes away.
