How do you transplant plants?

Why don't you just grow them where you want them in the first place?

Dig slightly around the plant and scoop out the plant and the dirt very carefully. You would do this because some plants require careful watching before placed in final location.

Some plants need to be grown indoors during cold weather or separately from others. Planting in pots makes it easier for us to move them whenever we want to. Transplanting may be required if a plant has outgrown its pot or if it will be better off in the ground.
