You pry up the old drain, a hammer and chisel would work well for this, and dispose of it. Next secure in new drain, and caulk it.

Cut out old drain. Use screwdriver and pry drain loose. Remove it. Remove old rubber washer. Set new washer. Place new drain into the hole and slide it into the washer. Screw pieces in place. If they fit, remove and prepare for gluing. Glue all of the pieces together.

This is pretty tricky. Make sure the water is off and the shower area is bone dry (use a space heater). You will need to chisel out the old grout and break out the tiles securing the old shower drain. Replace and install new tiles with grout. Allow to dry 24 hours.

You unscrew the old drain, pull it out and put in a new drain. While you are in there it is best to clean the area throughly. You can use a plunger to get the kook out of the drain. There will be hair in the drain.
