For paper beads: cut long, thin triangles of shiny magazine paper. The base of the triangle should be the desired width of the bead. From the base end, begin rolling the triangle around a knitting needle, gluing as you go. Slide the bead off the needle. Seal with glossy sealer.

A great way to make paper jewelry is to cut long triangular strips out of paper. Roll them around a toothpick and paint them with glue to make beads.
