How do you know if my fish has worms?

When looking for worms, you can sometimes actually see the worms. Some species leave outside spots, sometimes black in color, on the fish itself. Sometimes, spots are also on the muscle flesh of the fish. After cooking, the worms appear as thin white strings between the flakes of the filet.

If you see a reddish or blackish threadlike things hanging out of his abdomen. Watch out! That could be a worm definitely, Better treat it soon before it gets worse.

You can Check for visible parasites such as worms,leeches,flukes on the fish's body,Remove parasites manually from the fish,follow-up treatment is vital to prevent bacterial or fungal growth.otherwise it'll cause listlessness and erratic swimming.The pustules are much smaller and are typically located on the body.The fins may clamped tight to the body and the fish may seem unstable when it swims.

Huh? I have never heard of such a thing, but if it exist's, there are people at a fish store, who can answer your questions. I worked for a fish store for a year, and became pretty knowledgeable about fish, and I have never heard of worms in fish that can cause them any real damage.

In my fish tank fishes are not eating. Some times they are open the mouth. The food is wasted the botam of tank. I aimed they have worms.

Check for visible parasites on the outside of the fish. Also look for any holes in the fish that parasites have been eating. If the fish has cloudy eyes, pin sized dots, powder looking substances on the head and fins, bloating or refuses to eat they may also be infected with parasites.

For tropical aquarium fish, worms are easy to spot because most of the time they will emerge from the flesh of the fish. They are usually white or fair in color and will protrude from the fish's scales every once in a while. Small but not very hard to spot.
