TPMS system can not reset unless car has been parked for at least 20 minutes. The car must be driven at 16 mph or faster for resetting the system.

Either contact the dealer or look in your owners manual. Without knowing the year I can give specific details. Usually the process involves you using the dash computer options.

If you open up your fuse box inside the car it should have a button for oil and tire pressure monitoring. If you hold the button for about 10 seconds with the car off it should reset. If it does not you can take the negative off of your battery cable and that will reset it.

First, check your tire pressure. If it is low, inflate the tires to 43 PSI or more. This seems to be the number that will reset the system. Turn the ignition on, and the system should have reset. If it does not, you probably have a faulty wheel sensor. This would require replacement of the sensor.

your car should have an onboard computer. any changes that could be made would probably be made through your computer. you have to read your computer with a scanner.
