How do you get a loan?

I am guessing I just need to see a representative at a bank. Is there anything I should bring?

You need to see the Loan Officer at the bank of your choice. I suggest calling and making an appointment. At that time ask what you need to bring with.

You should definitely take copies of the last few paystubs you've received. If you're applying at a bank that you don't regularly use, be sure to take bank statements.

You can request a loan from a bank, credit union or even a peer to peer lending site. You will need proof of income and creditworthiness for a bank.

You can get a loan from a bank, credit union, or other financial institution, credit unions generally have better interest rates. You should bring some form of identification and other information supporting why you want the loan. For example, if you are borrowing money for auto repairs you may want to bring a copy of the estimated cost of repairs.
