You could start by contemplating the benefits of having more patience such as being happier and managing situations better. You could also observe people who are patient and try to act like them.

This excellent question may be shared by nearly every reader. There are times when we all long for more patience. Patience comes from slowing down our lives, being careful to think calm, rational thoughts, taking care of ourselves physically, and spending time with other patient people and in quiet activities.

A support group in which you learn to wait your turn and then admit to impatience can help with impatience! This problem can be worked on by delaying gratification and dealing with the negative moods by writing and/or feeling the moods and learning how to think about them differently. A counselor who specializes in cognitive changes can help.

The secret to gaining patience is practice. Consciously count to five before you speak. Soon enough it will become natural.
