How do you convince someone to give you a signature loan when you have bad credit?

Instead of begging for a signature loan, contact your local credit union for a loan. Or apply for a peer to peer lending site loan.

You've heard that you must have money to borrow money, and this is true. Deposit funds to a Certificate of Deposit account with the institution, and then ask them to give you a signature loan for that amount. Pay it back exactly as agreed. Rollover the CD, then ask for another. The experience is good for both lender and borrower.

You will probably need to get a co-signer. That's somebody who has better credit than yours, who's willing to sign on to the loan and promise to repay it if you don't. You might ask a parent or friend to be your co-signer.
