How do you clean the carbs on a Yamaha Maxim?

you must remove the float bowls and remove all jetting and soak everything for 2 hours in powertune then reassemble and set to manufacture specs.

You first need to remove the carbs from the bike. Then you need to drain the fuel from the float bowls. Then remove the screws on the bottom of the bowls. Remove the floats, main, pilot jets. Soak them in carb clean then spray them out. Then reassemble
