Try washing them in the machine on cold water with a couple of old towels to protect the drum. Dry them on the "air" setting only, or even outdoors with newspaper stuffed in them. Alternatively, try any of the cleaning products available. You could ask at a dry cleaner as well.

It depends on what they are made out of. If they are made from leather, wipe clean and use a Magic Eraser to get scuffs out. For canvas shoes, wash them, then stuff them with either newspaper or socks and let them air dry. It makes sure that the material dries in the stretched form.

You can wash them in the washing machine without shrinking them, just do not put them in the dryer, instead allow them to air dry.

throw them in the washing machine with towels or play clothes, anything you're not worried about staining. use regular laundry soap and i even use vanish or oxy clean if they're really dirty. shoes won't shrink, unless they're completely made of cotton and you wash them in hot water and dry them in a dryer
