Open a form, report, or data access in Microsoft Access. From the "More Controls" in the toolbox, click on Calendar Control. Here, appearance and function can be dictated by the user. Care must be taken when using ActiveX controls as they can pose security risks in particular situations. Research the full-fledged steps needed to add a calendar control.

Once you are ready to add your calendar, you will need to open Ms Access. On the tab selection 'menu', click that for a drop down list. Select from the codes that fit your needs, and enter that code in the command line. Then you will need to verify if correct, and then hit enter.

In Design View for the form, click More Tools in the toolbox, then chose Calendar Control in the list. Click where you want to place the control on the form. To modify the control, select and hit F4 to bring up the property sheet. You can click on a property and hit F1 for help on that property.
