The first thing to do is figure out is this a cooling issues I.E. the radiator and anti freeze or a air issues. Most likely if you flush you radiator and change the T-stat you will be fine.

The first thing to check (since it's very easy) is the thermostat. After that, flush your cooling system to ensure that there are no large globs of junk in there, also to ensure that your head gaskets are good. Then check the fan clutch to ensure it's working properly.

First would be to visually inspect the vehicle. Start vehicle and check: steam coming from exhaust, open radiator cap to check for air bubbles, water pump, radiator, radiator hoses, intake gaskets. If no signs, with a pressure test kit, test the cooling system for leaks. If still cant find problem, take the vehicle to your local mechanic to be diagnosed.

Like any other car, overheating issues can be a result of several things. I would start with the cooling system. If you have no leaks in your hoses, and your radiator fluid remains at a constant level, then you can probably rule that out. After that, I would move on to the thermostat after that.

f you have your factory car service manual handy, you should probably always follow it at the first time as it does often point out the details and tips on how to perform certain procedures. f your timing belt is worn or damaged, it can cause your engine to run rough or even not running at all if it's broken.

Assuming you've done the obvious, I hope you didn't remove the radiator shroud or the valances? Without them, your engine cannot cool itself because airflow is compromised.

Well just go through the entire system checking components. Flush the radiator and make sure your thermostat is working. If you engine has electric fans make sure they work.
