Clear away the area around the tub, you'll see why next. Take a large sledge hammer and smash the iron into manageable pieces for disposal. It's not that difficult.

Disconnect the water supply, stuff a cloth into the drain, cover it with a towel to avoid chipping, and hit it repeatedly with a big hammer. Remove the pieces.
