Your vehicle starts to wonder a bit more , it may sag where the shocks are bad , you can have alignment issues. A simple test is to bouce the car with your hands and see if it come back to rest quickly.if not replace shocks.

Pressing your knee on the front or rear bumper and shaking the car the car should go down, up and stabilize. If it rocks 3 times the shocks are bad.

You can usually tell when you have bad shocks or struts when the car makes bad noises as it goes over bumps.
