How do I grow roses on my fence?

You want to use some lattice work of thin metal poles. As the roses grow you string them up and tie them to the lattice or the poles as you train them to grow upward.

To get the roses to grow into the fence, be sure to bend when the plant is young and supple during the growing season. Plant the rose near the fence and as it grows intertwine the young leaves into the fence as desired. Pruning my be required to get it to grow as desired.

Buy yourself a good climbing rose. They come in a variety of blooms. I like the small tea ones. You need to train and tape the branches as they develop. This will start them to grow on the fence.

climbing roses grows along fences by their canes of 10 feet (3 m)length. starting with the lowest canes and the bottom rails of the fence, then spacing the cane 18-24 inches (45-60 cm) above it. When all the canes are positioned correctly, secure them with plant tape or ties.

Growing roses is a very simple task. Firstly ensure that the soil is moist and well fertilizer. Plant the rose seed into the soil and preferably close to the fence. when they seeds sprouts and starts growing they will climb onto the fence and your have rose on your fence :)
